Spirit and You Foundation
Husband and Wife team, Sean and Elemi Gayle, owner of Yeyeo Botanica, have been residents and business owners in Newark for over 10 years.
Their desire to serve the community through programming and volunteerism stems from their commitment to the belief in collective work and responsibility and the power of ancient and contemporary technologies as a tool for community development.
Their purchase of the foundation headquarters is based on a desire to provide space for community engagement through arts and cultural programming as well as provide meeting space for local organizations.
In 2023, Yeyeo Botanica held our 1st Community Roots Gala to announce our foundation and new building.
