The Ankh has been said to be the first or original Cross. Initially used as the hieroglyphic symbol for life, it has been interpreted to be mean long life, immortality and balance.

It also represents balance between opposing vibrations such as the divine masculine and divine feminine energy. The circle represents the feminine, the bottom the masculine and they meet in the middle to form the Ankh as we know it.
